Give advice and counsel.  Frequently I warn clients “if you don’t want my opinion, don’t ask”. I speak my mind and advise clients as if it were my own personal transaction – but I also make sure clients feel empowered to make their own informed decisions.

Help with pricing.  Staying abreast of the latest market trends includes having my fingers on the pulse of what Buyers are willing to pay or how aggressive a Seller should set their price. It is more than just pulling comps from MLS; it is knowing where the market is going rather than where it has been.

Stay connected.  Today’s world is full of technology enabling me to stay connected with clients. I pride myself on being available to clients because home buying or selling are very important events in one’s life.

Network to your advantage.  Being with a firm that has 20% market share in Area 2 and 90+ agents in my particular office, I maintain close contact with other active top performing agents in the area. For example, I regularly meet with a group of 25 of the best agents to learn properties before they go on the market or about buyers just entering the market. This gives me and my client a competitive edge.

Negotiate, negotiate, and negotiate.  Offers and counter offers are not just done when you make or receive an offer – but continue with inspections, financing and possession.

Use the latest resources. Within 48 hours of listing your home on the market it will also be on Craigslist,  Zillow,  Google,  The Tennessean, Trulia and other real estate sites. You will get a weekly report from me telling you how many electronic “hits” your listing has received.

Offer my stable of resources.  Over the years I have an extensive list of vendors including painters, electricians, handymen, plumbers, decorators and a whole host of tradespersons and professionals necessary in buying or selling a home.

Stay in touch after the sale or purchase.  I maintain frequent contact with each client keeping them abreast of real estate issues particularly in the Nashville market.

Think outside the box.  I delight in helping clients to reach unique solutions to the real estate dilemmas and work to make a win-win solution that often involves a unique scenario.

Make it personal.  Each client has special needs and my job is to match you with the service you need. I often get clients who need connections with a physician, laundry service, restaurants, faith organizations, schools – even house cleaners.
